The Kempinski Grand Hotel Gelendzhik, now open on the Black Sea Coast
Kempinksi opens its third hotel in Russia and the first on the Black Sea, with the new luxurious Kempinski Grand Hotel Gelendzhik. This mega project, spread over eight hectares encompasses of a five-star hotel with 379 rooms, including seven bungalows, private beach, indoor and outdoor pools, a multi-functional congress centre, an amphitheatre for outdoor events, tennis courts, spa, aquatic centre, three restaurants and a children’s playground. The 379-room Kempinski Grand Hotel Gelendzhik includes 30 suites, and offer guests outstanding views overlooking the sea, the mountains, or the park filled with ancient pine trees. The rooms are all state-of-the-art, equipped with WiFi, satellite and interactive TV, climate control, electronic safe storage, mini-bar, and orthopaedic beds. The resort also offers bungalows, nestled among picturesque gardens and ideal for family holidays. The hotel will also feature a 198 sq m Presidential Suite with superb living and entertaining space, a panoramic balcony, terrace and the benefit of a private entrance to the Gelendzhik presidential lounge, with a separate reception area. For young travellers, a variety of surprises await them including the garden maze, a playground, and water slides. The hotel can also develop special programmes for children, run by trained childcare specialists who organize not only exciting playtimes but also educational activities. Dining facilities include the main restaurant Riviera that can accommodate 400 guests and its open-air summer terrace is a wonderful way to enjoy the hotel’s organic food. A gourmet restaurant Fusion specialises in sophisticated European and Asian cuisine. At sundown guests like to gather in the Fusion elegant wine bar, to enjoy a cocktail and marvel at the rays sinking into the sea on the horizon.
